By allowing the turbo to ingest all the cold air it needs, Max Racing designed the Premium Forged Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake System upgrade to enhance the power boosts significantly. The use of forged carbon fiber composites allowed Max Racing to create lighter weight & stronger structure that use to provide smoother air flow supply to enhance performance and aesthetics for your Golf R & Golf GTI MK7.
The new large Max Racing front air duct was specifically designed to distribute airflow evenly over the entire circumference of the intake filter. This means greater distribution of cold airflow across the filter will resulting in lower pressure drops and a longer filter life between cleanings. Moreover, it also amplify the air filter induction spool sound whenever you step the revs.
The Max Racing VW Golf R MK7 Forged Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake is designed with 3.5″ diameter pipe to draw a higher volume of cold air into the turbocharger. With this intake installed, the original air filter boxes are replaced with Max Racing Forged Carbon pipe and airbox. This eliminates clutter within the engine bay while drawing cold air from outside.
The MK7 Golf R & Golf GTI Cold Air Intake Kit provide a vast improvement over the stock intake system and supports power up to 600 horsepower.
